BuddyCinemas is a streaming entertainment platform offering shorts, short-series, series, and films, available on the web and through Android and iOS apps under a "sign-in and stream" model — paid purchases are completed on the web, while the apps focus on authentication and playback.
BuddyCinemas is operated by two affiliated companies under a single brand:
Newtact Lab Private Limited — an Indian private limited company, responsible for operating the Service for users located in India, including India-specific billing (GST-invoiced payments via Razorpay and Cashfree) and compliance with Indian intermediary and consumer-protection regulations applicable to the Service in India.
Thaja FZE LLC — a company established in the United Arab Emirates, which owns the BuddyCinemas brand and underlying intellectual property, and operates the Service (including VAT-invoiced billing via Stripe) for users located outside India.
Newtact Lab Private Limited — 12th Floor, Manjeera Trinity Corporate, Geek Space Business Centre, Near Lulu Mall, KPHB Phase 3, Hyderabad, Telangana 500072, India.
Thaja FZE LLC — United Arab Emirates.
Regardless of which entity bills you, charges appear on your bank/card statement as BUDDYCINEMAS. Indian users receive a GST-compliant tax invoice from Newtact Lab Private Limited; users outside India receive a VAT-compliant invoice (where applicable) from Thaja FZE LLC. Corporate identification and tax-registration numbers (CIN/GSTIN and equivalents) are shown on the invoices we issue and are available on request.
Titles on BuddyCinemas are sourced directly and through onboarded content partners/producers under commercial licensing agreements with defined territory, revenue-share, and ownership terms.
